The final brief for Architecture, Energy, Matter 3, Designing with Emergent Energies in a Fluid Archipelago required that students develop ways of positioning architecture within the dynamic material flows shaping the Maldives that they had researched and mapped, and interrogating what it meant to design in such highly dynamic and fragile conditions.
